Anime is the name of animated films and series that are drawn in a Japanese manga style. Anime is customary to divide the TV series, OAV (Original Animated Video) series and movies. Anime comes from Japan, where it is also by far the most common, and is distinguished by a characteristic style of drawing characters and backgrounds. more
This rule applies only outside Japan. In Japanese, the term anime is used for all animated films and series from around the world. The origin marking anime is said in French, the word dessin animé.
Manga is the Japanese style of painting or drawing, which is based on the roots of the original Japanese comic art. Naming the manga first appeared in the late half of the 18th century based on publications like The picture book "Šidži no Jukikai" by SANTO Kjódena, a free translation is strange pictures. Today we speak of the modern manga. Characteristic for this style of painting are confident strokes, clean lines, disproportionately displayed characters less color transitions at the expense of hatch of the details of a strongly plotted eyes, small pointed nose. It is now most often used in drawing comics and typical Japanese TV series and films - in which case we are talking about anime. Manga is made even outside of traditional Japan and it is regarded with the same degree of recognition. They are mainly Asian countries such as Taiwan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong and Europe belong there even France.
